Essexville Electric, along with its affiliate Fiber Fusion, has contracted to install two major intrusion detection systems, including fiber optic sensing cable, perimeter lighting and security camera installation, at the Midland Dow Corning plants and the Cook Nuclear Power Plant near Bridgman, Mich. The projects will run concurrently and be completed in 2013.
Essexville Electric is currently installing primary and secondary electrical infrastructure at the Mersen facility in Bay City, Mich. The results of that work will effectively triple the electrical capacity of that facility from 5 Megawatts to 15 Megawatts, making it the largest user of power on the Bay City Light and Power System
